The Tucca edit

The sisters behind Tucca

An island upbringing. A shared love of swimwear. Meet the people and ideas behind the prints.

Sister Founders

Sisters, swimwear and a shared idea

Tucca’s story began with two sisters growing up in Mallorca, where bikinis were part of everyday life. The name came from a nickname given to Helaina, long before it became a swimwear label.

The sisters launched Tucca Swim in 2018, bringing their shared love of swimwear into a brand of their own.

Designed in Mallorca

Designed to Tell a Story

Tucca’s founders design the prints in-house, drawing on places they have explored, natural textures and coastal colours. Reversible designs bring different looks together in one piece.

In our conversation with Chloe, we’ll explore how a colour or a memory becomes a print — and how a design moves from first idea to finished swimwear.

The Multiway idea

More ways to wear

Reversible swimwear offers a choice of looks. The Multiway design adds different styling possibilities, with pieces that can be worn as a top or bottom.

From Chloe’s founder interview

Island roots. More ways to wear.

01

Growing up by the sea

Chloe grew up surrounded by Mallorca’s sea, nature and outdoor Mediterranean lifestyle. The colours, landscapes and energy of the island inspire Tucca’s designs and her appreciation of the environment.

02

The fabric decision

Softness and lasting quality were part of Chloe’s reasons for choosing ECONYL® regenerated nylon. Tucca’s standard swimwear is 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% elastane. The Ibiza range has its own distinct fabric composition.

03

What Multiway really means

It is more than changing the straps. Chloe describes one Multiway piece that can be worn as a top or bottom, with over six ways to style it. All Tucca Multiway bikinis are reversible, giving you a different colour or print when you turn the piece over.

Inside Chloe’s suitcase

Her starting point is Tidal Bloom Multiway swimwear with Santanyi trousers, the matching bandeau and a Tucca cap. For a honeymoon, she recommends a padded Charm top with Brazilian bottoms in Tidal Bloom or Hibiscus Heat, and Santanyi shorts with the bandeau for afterwards.
